On May 7th the board met electronically and decided to postpone our annual budget meeting from its late May time frame to June 27th, 2020.

Because these precarious time still haunt us and it is not fully safe to interact with your neighbors in close quarters, we have decided to postpone our Deer Island meeting until our annual meeting date of September 5th. It is unfortunate we have to react this way but it is safer for all.

Discussions regarding the tennis/pickleball court as well as the possibility of installing a gate at the entrance entrance of Deer Island will have to be postponed until then. We regret the delay but if there are any issues board members are always available.

Deer Island is a community of private roads and properties on Bantam Lake in the town of Morris, Connecticut.  Bantam Lake is a majestic paradise tucked away in the northwest corner of Connecticut in beautiful Litchfield County.  The Deer Island Association manages the services provided to home owners.

Deer Island

Be sure to leave your blue recycling bin and black garbage bin roadsite in front of your property.  And make sure the metal grab bar is facing the road so that trucks can easily pick them up.

Add this event to my calendar.
